Linda Hyman, LMFT #46080

My name is Linda Hyman, I have been a therapist for over 20 years. After surviving some very traumatic times in my life, I developed a passion for mental health “later” in life. I wear the title "therapist" with both pride and humility.

I provide special support for trauma, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, grief and all-things family. This includes blended-family dynamics, parents who have lost a child, women struggling with infertility and miscarriage, parents dealing with children who have drug and alcohol problems, adoption-related issues, caregivers support and the unique but rarely talked about relationship of twin siblings.

I consider it an honor to be invited into people's life - to listen to your story, the highs, the lows, the pain and the strength of all that you are. Although I have training, experience and education, I believe that most healing happens with compassion and kindness - these are the pillars of my work. I am client-centered, going at the pace of my clients while gently encouraging and empowering you towards living a life that matters to you.

I am a native of Scotland, UK, having lived in the desert for 33 years which has become my second home. I am a mother and grandmother to three adopted children from Ecuador - with children who are Mexican, Filipino and Ecuadorian heritage. When I’m not working, I’m swimming, reading, cooking or drinking Starbucks.
