Rubi Becerril Gonzalez, APCC #12619

Hello, my name is Rubi! For the last 6 years I have been working in the Coachella Valley, providing services in education, counseling, youth support and social justice. This first-hand experience has allowed me to grow as a person and professional with the skills and passion to support my clients in the areas of anxiety, depression, grief and relational conflict. I also enjoy working with teens and young adults who are navigating the complex world of adolescence.

There is many reasons why people may "resort" to therapy. Some of these reasons might include low self-esteem, loss of motivation and concentration, crying spells, panic attacks, irritability, heartache, heartbreak, job difficulties, sleep problems, relationship problems, anger, sadness, loss...whatever brings you to seek help today, please know you're not alone. Going to therapy to talk to a "stranger" can feel scary - you may even worry that there is something wrong with you for "needing" help or that you "should" be able to do it on your own.  But the truth is that it takes takes a lot of courage and strength to ask for help. As a therapist, I am dedicated to this role after having personally benefited from therapy which truly helped me see my inherent worth. It is now an honor to provide a safe space for others to do the same. If you're unsure on how to proceed or whether you want to, I offer a free consultation - call us, or send an email, or visit this page as many times as you need until you're ready. We will go at your pace and meet you there.

ABOUT ME: I grew up in the Coachella Valley but I am originally from Mexico.  On my free time I enjoy cooking, baking, reading poetry hiking and I love cats!
