Sally Flores, LMFT 52715

Hello, I'm Sally, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I understand that the idea of therapy might feel daunting or embarrassing for some. You might be unsure if it's the right fit for you, or worried about what others might think. Let me share a bit about myself:

My professional path began in healthcare, where I certified as a medical assistant and later became a licensed vocational nurse, working in various settings, including emergency rooms and obstetrics. Later, my passion for education led me to earn a bachelor's degree in child development and teach Parent Education for the Los Angeles Unified School District. Motivated by a child observation class, I pursued a marriage and family therapy license. As a mother of three, I understand the challenges mothers face, having once been in their shoes.

In my counseling practice, I've developed diverse methods to meet the unique needs of my clients. I specialize in support for children, families and treatment for depression, anxiety and traumas. I really enjoy learning and staying up to date with varying therapy approaches to best help my clients. I believe it is important to tailor each session to support your individual needs.

If today you find yourself on the verge of deciding whether therapy is for you, I want you to know that taking the first step towards therapy can be scary, but it's also incredibly brave. I'm here to provide a safe and compassionate space for you when you're ready.
