Luis Angel Caballero, LMFT

Greetings. My name is Luis Angel Caballero, but you can call me Angel. I was born and raised in the Coachella Valley. I am extremely passionate about community work, which is all about the individual, the family, and the relational work that we all do every day in the ordinary and not-so-ordinary moments of life.

I have a strong background in case management which has sharpened my advocacy skills as a practicing clinician. My work experience in homelessness, foster care, residential treatment, and the school setting enriches the work I do with my clients and families. My therapeutic approach is humanistic and experiential with a focus on interventions from EFT, ACT, CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and narrative therapy.

In my spare time, I enjoy walking with or without my dogs, Leon, Missy Elliot, and Coco. During the summer, I love swimming and going to the beach. I also love going to the movie theater. I also really enjoy cooking for those I love and respect and spending the time I can with family and my folks.
